Situated on a narrow strip of land, the main challenge of this project was to create a spacious place for people to live while dealing with the space constraints of the site. The house consists of volumes that slide over each other generating a sleek form that elegantly sits on the site without dominating its surroundings. The concept of sliding is further articulated in the arrangement of the spaces. The exterior pool and patios are juxtaposed next to the living and dining areas creating a sense of openness and spaciousness despite the constraints of the site.
