Since its inception, AR43 has had experience in a number of institutional projects, primarily at the tertiary level in Singapore. Most of these projects are laboratories for a range of research institutions such as chemical laboratories, biological research laboratories and energy research laboratories. Due to the technical nature of these projects special care is taken with regards to the function and the program of the project. Yet despite the functional nature of the laboratories, aesthetics and design remains just as important in enriching the user experience within the laboratories.
